Cafe Am Dom in Wurzburg

Very fine cakes and pastries. Cozy to sit and chat. Service very friendly

As the name suggests, the café is located by the cathedral in the beautiful old town of Würzburg. We had an outside table at the corner, this was the only space by far. Otherwise the distance was not kept in the whole café. Entry of the name not possible because it does not exist. Sorry that the Corona rules are not observed. Ice cream and coffee is fine. The service is not overly friendly and the waiting times are quite long. Price performance ratio not appropriate. Parking spaces are available nearby for a fee. If you liked or helped the recession then I look forward to a LIKE your Sina.

Nice and cozy terrace With delicious coffee and sundae

Ice cream sundaes were good, unfortunately the service was inattentive, we were left sitting in front of our empty cups after about 20 minutes we decided to pay, unfortunately any hand signals were overlooked. When you were spoken to, you became involved in a discussion and received snotty answers.

Overall very dingy. Unfortunately, the entire breakfast gives the impression that it was bought from the cheapest providers. The veal sausages were greasy and had little flavor - at least the veal sausage mustard was not cheap. The scrambled eggs looked like they were out of the bag, also carelessly prepared with too much fat / oil. Last but not least, the coffee was no longer a bright spot, thin and not really tasty. All in all a real "one time experience" in the worst sense.

Very nice restaurant with an attractive outdoor area. Very nice staff. Great, wide range of food and drinks. Nice location right by the cathedral.

Nice café, right by the cathedral, with nice outside seating. Unfortunately we were only given space inside. But the delicious sundaes made up for this shortcoming.

The tiramisu sundae is very tasty and, if you want to save calories, is enough for two 😉 The other varieties (like walnut cups) also sounded tempting and I would like to try them next time.

Does the operator of this cafe know that we are still living in Corona times? The breakfast was great, the cappuccino good. Everything else is absolutely impossible. - No address data was recorded - The table was wiped by hand - All guests went to some table without any kind of mask. You don't see me in this cafe anymore Unfortunately, I have to assign a star.

Nice selection of cakes. I was amazed that Höreder delivers this far. Not too expensive despite the location. Friendly service.

Yesterday we had a trip to Würzburg, which was very nice. After a delicious lunch we wanted to have a coffee. The Cafe am Dom offered itself. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a flop. Short and not good ... very unfriendly waiter, coffee was banged on the table with a dash, when asked for the third coffee, yes, right away. Toilets 🤨 ragged and dirty. Absolute thumbs down from us. Not recommended, the owner has to do a lot. Too bad because the location promises a lot more.

The best Ice Cream in Würzburg . My Favorites are Coconut and Melon

Today we and a small group of guests were literally slammed in front of the nose at 19:46. The questioning glances of the guests were answered only by the waiter shaking his head. Opening times are given until 8 p.m. Seriously?

Not recommended! Had to wait a long time until we were served, then the ice melted. Had actually ordered ice cream and no soup!

Wonderful place for a ice cream

Good service and great location.

Great location right by the cathedral and a nice place to sit outside and people watch. We were serenaded for over an hour by a young trumpet player nearby who still needs some practice but we appreciated the effort. Although we didn't indulge in a dessert, they looked amazing. Food was just okay. Coffee was excellent. Service was a little slow but all 5 of the waitresses that helped us were nice.
